Friday we released our vendor database to the public. Yesterday we had 82 new people in the application, with even more on the main site so word is getting around. I have made 1 public post about it so that's really cool π₯³
Product Analytics:
The image above is from our new analytics software that measures everything that happens on LVL Up. This went live 2 days ago. Now that we are getting more traffic, it's time to understand how to improve the experience on the app. It even shows when people get frustrated and what led to that. As always if you have an issue or suggestion email me your notes.
Ever have a bug and try to get the vendor's support to understand only to be told "It's good on our end." Every session is now captured so all you need to do is say when it happened and we can see it and work to solve it. (red line is mouse trail)
Upgraded Vendor Search:
The first lesson from the new software was the search page was slow taking 9-20 seconds to render. It also couldn't be sorted and overall wasn't very responsive. To address this it was completely overhauled around a new data table. This has reduced the initial load to 3-9 seconds and reduced the number of endpoint requests from 375 to 80. This is due to paginating the results and consolidating the requests. I am quite proud - check it out. These data tables will start showing up in the rest of the app over the coming weeks.
Demo Up is Live:
