2/1
Throughout the month of Jan, I received an amazing amount of feedback from everyone. Today I am proud to announce the My Vendor Expansion is now live. I bundled all the best ideas into a new way to present the information and I really like how it turned out. Please let me know how you like it, any bugs that you find as well as keep the ideas coming!
New Expanded View: On the 'My Vendors' screen click on the vendor’s logo to open the side end drawer. This works on desktop and mobile.
Deal Tags: in the upper right corner of the expanded view. Click here to add your own unique tags to your deals. They are saved at either the dealer or group level, depending on your org, and are available to all the users within the same level. Up to two deal tags will be displayed for each deal in the main My Vendors view next to the product name. You can ensure the ones you want to display are added first and others after. Here are some ideas of things you can use this for:
Has PII
By Use Case (Marketing, Website, etc.)
Under Review
Billing Status: No Not Pay / Ok to Pay
Summary: Includes the deal summary and ability to add a vendor account manager contact. I will expand this feature some more with vendor expectations and targets. So more to come. Invoices History: for those that have upgraded and have integrated your incoming invoices you will see the history of every invoice here with links to the cloud storage of the AI parsed invoices.
You can click ‘Include Entire Org’ to quickly see all invoices from this vendor for those with auto groups.
Notes: As with Invoice History, you can click ‘Include Entire Org’ to quickly see all notes from this vendor for those with auto groups. I consider this the foundation in which more advanced note features will expand from.
This is perfect for keeping track of what happens in your monthly meetings, concerns with invoices, tickets you have created and key discussions inside your organization. These are private to your organization.
Contracts: By far the most requested features of Jan with 25 different dealerships asking for this alone. You can upload a contract for a vendor, associate it with the deal you have already added and select one or more locations it applies to.
The logic for ‘Include Entire Org’ is different for this as one contract may contain multiple dealerships. Also, consider there will be multiple products aka deals.
I can see a few additional enhancements I want to continue to implement, like the ability to edit previously uploaded contracts as well as a single view of all contracts org. wide. More on this as I get more feedback.
Download Deals: for those that have upgraded I have updated the Excel export to include all the deal tags and updated the date format to M/dd/yyyy. Other UI Improvements:
Minor: Lots of spacing and text size improvements, specifically for mobile. Query performance: scaling up due to the addition of 332 new vendors. Latency reports look good!
Sticky headers: added to my vendors, search vendors, invoices, sandbox, users, locations. As you scroll down the header will stay at the top.
Choice chips: I tightened these up and allowed them to wrap to the next row. The number of categories was falling off the screen on Search, which reduces the visibility of those unfairly. I am also going to expand the number of categories so this will allow for more room.
What’s in the works:
Email and Messaging through App: This is my focus starting today. I am beyond excited to build this out and have a ton of ways to improve your experience, connect your teams and dramatically increase the power of LVL Up.
Vendor side of the application: This will allow them to update their company and product pages, setup demo delivery rules and see and respond to reviews.
Demo delivery to vendors: Right now, you can schedule demos to manage internally, a decent number of you do this today. I also see them and will reach out to vendors on your behalf to introduce LVL Up to them. Email and vendor-side are pre-reqs to make this automated.
